Disclosure Policy

The FTC is making bloggers do this because some unscrupulous bloggers have been writing paid reviews for sucky products (as if that’s the worst thing that goes on on the Internet). I’ve never partaken in said behaviors, but just to cover my hide, here are the three rules that make up the EiH disclosure policy:

1. Yes, I am trying to earn money from this site.
2. If there’s a link that takes you away from my site, and sends you to a site trying to sell you something, assume I get paid for it.
3. If I review something, I probably got it for free, but don’t worry because I’ll tell you in the review, and then I’ll probably give it away (especially if it sucks).
